         Gangapur is a pilgrimage site in the state of Karnataka and is the birthplace of Sri Narasimha Saraswati on the river Bhima. It is located at the confluence of the two rivers Bhima and Amarja.

        Hello friends we are going to see information about Gangapur Pilgrimage. Gangapur is a place in Kalburgi district of Karnataka state. This place is near from Afzalpur. The place Gangapur is the temple of Sri Dattatreya. Devotees of the country come here in large numbers. Nearby is the confluence of two rivers Amarja and Bhima. It is believed that after bathing at this confluence, our vignes are removed. Similarly, near here is famous as Bhasmacha mountain. Gangapur is known as the birthplace of Shri Narasimha Saraswati. It is also said that Lord Parashurama performed penance in the land for the welfare of the world. Devotees come in large numbers to have darshan of Sri Dattatreya.
