Tillayabandh ::

Tilaya Dam is a large dam on the Barakal River. There is a deer park nearby. It is a tourist destination.

Anjangaon::

Known as the birthplace of Maruti's mother Anjani. There is an idol of Anjani Mata in this place. It is said that devotee Hanuman was born here.

Kaunar::

Kaunar is a major dam in the Damodar Valley. It is recognized as a popular tourist destination.

Jamshedpur ::

Jamshedpur is known as an industrial area. Jamshedji Tata set up India's first steel factory at Jamshedpur. Jamshedpur is a place at the confluence of Karkoi and Suvarnarekha rivers. This area has a very beautiful structure of birth hill.

Deoghar ::

Devghar is called Vaidyanath Dham. There is a famous temple of Mahadev here. Vaidyadhamas here is considered as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. A big yatra is held here on Shivratri. Devotees perform Vaijnath Abhishek by fetching water from Sultanganj on Ganga river from a distance of hundred kilometers.

Dhanbad ::

Dhanbad is known as an industrial city famous for its coal mines.

Netarhat ::

Netarhat is a cool place in the state of Jharkhand. It is also called the Queen of Little Nagpur. Ghagri waterfall here is spectacular. Sunrise and sunset points can be seen here.

Panchet ::

is a major dam in the Damodar Valley.

Palamu ::

There is a tiger reserve in Palamu. Known as the capital of ancient Ghero kingdoms. There are hot springs here.

Parasnath ::

Parasnath is known as a holy place for Jains. To twenty of the twenty four Jain pilgrims. Nirvana was attained on this peak. It is the highest place in Jharkhand. Marangu Guru, the holy deity of the Santhal tribe, is on this mountain. This mountain is called Samed peak.

Bokaro ::

There is a massive steel plant at Bokaro. This steel plant has been set up with the cooperation of Russia.

Ranchi ::

Ranchi is the capital of Jharkhand state. It is known as a place of cool air. Major industrial estates are located here. Waterfalls can be seen here Hundru, Jonha, Dasam, Panchdhara, Hirni, Seena etc. waterfalls can be seen. Birsa Munda, the first revolutionary of Jharkhand, was martyred in 1900 AD while fighting against the British rule.

Shindri ::

Asia's largest fertilizer factory is located at Shindri.

Hazaribagh ::

Hazaribagh is a scenic spot. Here is Hazaribagh National Park.

Hundru ::

Hundru is a waterfall on the river Suvarna Rekha.

Maithan ::

Maithan is known as the largest dam in the Damodar valley and its underground electric planet is considered a scientific marvel.

Rajasappa ::

Rajasappa is a large waterfall on the Damodar River. Rajasappa is known as a religious place. One of the 51 Shaktipeeths is located here.
