Alandi: Mentioned as Alankapuri. Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Sanjivan Samadhi, Indrayani river ghat, Ajanvriksha, Suvarna Pimpal. Palkhi ceremony on Ashadi Ekadashi goes from Alandi to Pandharpur. Millions of devotees attend the ceremony.

Carly: The sacred place of the Goddess Ekvira. Buddhist caves. The largest Chaityagriha in India is located here. Special for tourists. 

Jejuri: Awakened shrine of Shri Khandoba, the adored deity of Maharashtra. Newlyweds must visit. Large scattering of stored coconut is done. 

Nashik: Venue of Kumbh Mela in India. Bathing Special at Ramkunda, Kalaram Temple, Panchavati. Here Pitras are donated to Pitras. 

Nanded: An old town situated on the banks of river Godavari. Mr. Samadhi of Guru Gobind Singh. Largest Irrigation Project at Vishnuchpuri. 

Nevasa: A sacred pilgrimage site situated on the banks of the river Pravara. Saint Dnyaneshwar wrote at Dnyaneshwari. 

Parli: Jyojatirlinga Vaidyanath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Thermal power station. Tourists and devotees from India come in large numbers. 

Aundha Nagnath: The holy temple of Nagnath among the twelve Jyo Tirlingas. 

Trimbakeshwara: Trimbakeshwara temple out of twelve Jyotirlingas. The river Godavari originates in the Brahma Giri mountain range. There are many pilgrimages. 

Eluru: The temple of the abominable brother-in-law out of the twelve Jyobatirlingas. The temple of Lakshmi Vinayaka is one of the 21 awakened places of Ganesha. A group of world famous caves. Kailash Caves are famous.
